Overview
We are looking for a Website Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years experience in website development and a passion for building and customizing websites. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our Shopify store to ensure they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional. This role also involves working on additional web development projects beyond Shopify, including digital platforms and landing pages according to business needs.
Specific Skills
- Experience in building responsive websites or customizing Shopify themes.
- Familiarity with SEO, website performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with third-party integrations and apps
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Detail-oriented, solution-oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia (Proficient in Mandarin is a plus)
Responsible For
Shopify Store Development & customization:
- Modify and enhance existing Shopify themes to reflect the brand’s identity and improve the user experience.
- Develop custom features and sections based on business and user needs.
- Ensure the website is fully responsive, optimized, and cross-browser compatible.
- Regularly update product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Ensure the site is continuously updated and maintained with minimal downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to themes, integrations, or custom code.
- Provide ongoing support and improvements to the Shopify store, including bug fixes and performance optimization.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO to ensure a smooth user experience and high search engine ranking.
- Monitor site analytics to implement enhancements and ensure the site is scalable as traffic grows. Integrations & Enhancements:
- Integrate third-party tools, apps, and payment gateways to enhance store functionality.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement features like pop-ups, discount codes, and checkout customizations.
